Böme — F Series
The Context
More powerful data centers, increasingly critical cooling systems.
With the continuous growth in demand for computing power and the rise of AI, data centers are becoming increasingly important, powerful, and energy-intensive. As a result, the need for efficient cooling systems is also growing—systems capable of dissipating the heat generated by servers accurately and effectively.
The main liquid cooling technologies are direct-to-chip and immersion cooling. In direct-to-chip systems, the lines connected to individual cold plates remove heat directly from CPUs and GPUs. A key aspect of these systems is ensuring proper hydraulic balancing: without balancing, hot spots can develop, leading to performance losses.
What the F Series Does
The Böme F Series enables the safe and precise balancing of these cooling systems.
Thermostatic Balancing Valve
The F10 valve automatically and continuously regulates the coolant flow rate based on the fluid temperature, measured with high precision, ensuring that the associated unit is always maintained at its optimal design temperature.
Particularly suitable for circuits with variable thermal loads, the F10 can be installed downstream of each individual cold plate or each rack. This allows the flow rate to be modulated directly at each server or rack, ensuring optimal flow according to actual cooling demand.

Dynamic Balancing Valve
The F40 valve maintains the design flow rate regardless of supply pressure, terminal position, or the temporary isolation of individual branches for maintenance or replacement.
Particularly suited to circuits with constant thermal loads, or when used in combination with the F10, the F40 is installed upstream of each individual cold plate or rack, ensuring a constant and uniform water supply to every branch.

Complete balancing: F10 and F40 working together.
When used in combination, the F40 is installed upstream of the rack or line to balance the racks within the line or the different lines throughout the system, while the F10 operates on each individual branch, providing real-time thermostatic control.
The result is a fully balanced, precise, and autonomous cooling system: every server receives exactly the flow rate it needs, at all times.
